ABOUT THIS

there is a particular type of meaning that lacks its proper mode of expression: ideas that are talked over when you're half-drunk, doubly-provisional ideas too flimsy for literature, ideas not well structured enough for academic work, but also ideas not as unworthy as to be disposed of over a quick facebook post or - horror of horrors - dismissed as pointless. odd bits of dissertation that don't really fit anywhere, mind-shattering insights you get in the shower or when your mind is perfectly focused on something else... where do they all go?

this blog is intended as a a collective endeavour to try to give these half-ideas a place, and to keep the people whom they occurred to in touch. we find it's MUCH easier to think when you abandon all claims to scientificity or artistic merit! if you hear a little voice in your head saying ‘dear me, this is where ideas go to die!’, pay it no mind and seek immediate counselling with one of our contributors.

have YOU got ridiculously interesting thoughts?
